Smelt is Lead Mojo’s marketplace where listeners can pre-fund original, high-quality, scripted audio comedy.
It’s an attempt to redefine the relationship between the people who make audio comedy and the listeners who value it. If enough of you want these projects to happen, they will.
It’s not a Kickstarter - we would rather spend our time making brilliant audio comedy than fulfilling various levels of pledge. All of your money will go towards making the series as good as possible, and paying everyone fairly. No need to pay a streaming service subscription in the hope they will give you something you want - here you get to decide what you want to hear. And if we make more than that, you know the money is going towards the people who made the show you’ll love.
